Spiral couplings are flexible and can handle parallel, axial, and angular misalignment better than parallel couplings, which are more rigid and better for high-torque applications. Both types allow zero backlash and never need lubrication. Acetal, aluminum, and stainless steel couplings are available for your specific application needs.
