To move precisely and without friction, float bearings on air. These bearings are hung utilising pressurised air for linear and rotary motion, unlike conventional bearings that might wear out your shaft. They slide silently and without wearing since there is no friction. Because these bearings are self-aligning, they can correct some shaft misalignment. A compressed air system must be attached to them.
