High-Power Metal Bevel Gears
Our carbon steel spiral bevel gears are designed for heavy-duty applications that require transmitting motion at a right angle while changing shaft speed and torque. These gears handle heavier loads at higher speeds than bevel gears with straight teeth because their teeth stay in contact longer. They're also hardened for extra wear resistance, reducing noise and vibration during operation.
These gears come with spiral teeth that engage gradually, reducing noise and vibration. They can reduce speeds at ratios of 2:1, 3:1, or 4:1, making them ideal for various applications. You can customize the machinable bore of the gears to fit a variety of shaft sizes.
Please note that a complete set consists of a gear and pinion, which are sold separately. For the gears to mesh correctly, they must have the same pressure angle, module, and face width. Changing the shaft speed also changes torque, so keep that in mind when selecting the right gear for your application.
